A warm-hearted business pitch
I was invited by the students of CDO Newton – who I can confidently call entrepreneurs – to come and enjoy a taste testing pitch. I say taste testing because the students created Breakcup a pop-up (cup)cake shop. I could not say no to this invitation. I was welcomed by a lovely bunch of entrepreneurs. They made sure I felt at ease and was accompanied to my seat. When all 4 judges sat down the entrepreneurs started their pitch.
I was amazed by how confident they were in presenting their company. They covered everything very well. Also, I couldn’t keep my eyes off those beautiful cupcakes. Over to the taste testing. Side note: I’m not the biggest fan of cupcakes. Man…did I have a revelation-like experience with those cupcakes! Yum! Baked to perfection and very easy on the eyes.
I would like to thank Breakcup for having me. I hope the feedback we gave was useful. I encourage the young entrepreneurs to work even harder! You are doing fantastic, keep going.
I hope all students, project workers, partners understand how important pitching is. Feedback is crucial to building a business. The main thing I wanted to do with this post is show everyone how fun a pitch can be, for all parties involved. Let’s go entrepreneurs, let’s go SPEED-You-UP!
