The discovery phase has ended with one or more entrepreneurial ideas. This idea, which is still rough, is the starting point for the dream phase.
The first step is to brainstorm based on the entrepreneurial idea(s) and to define the scope of the business they want to start.
Guiding questions for this phase:
- What do we want to achieve with our enterprise?
- Who is our target audience?
- What are existing examples/practices, or similar enterprises? How are we going to make a difference?
- Why would people buy our product or use our service?
- What is the value that we create, or the problem that we are solving? (specifically taking into account the community/neighborhood)
Depending on how far students are with their business idea, there might be more time spent on brainstorming before they start framing the business challenge, or young people can immediately start framing their enterprise challenge.
This element ends with a well-developed business idea on the basis of which the young people can start developing a prototype.
