Sint-Niklaas Hub

This hub is a collaboration between the city of Sint-Niklaas and the local Youth Centre called Den Eglantier. The location is in the heart of the city and has a good hub “vibe”. Stad Sint-Niklaas and SYU offers coaching to the coaches and works alongside to build out a trajectory for young people.

This hub pilot is still in the early stages. The programme consists of a series of workshops and training combined with individual and group coaching. As of December 2021 we built up a trajectory of workshops and conversations towards an sales event. This would be a Christmas edition. Young entrepreneurs could sell their product or service here. Due to covid-19 regulations it was cancelled three weeks before the event. 

"We try to make a durable change for young people by 'going deep' with young people. We give room and space for other domains as well such as sports, mental health. Also, we invest in good aftercare and signposting after the trajectory is finished."
